Booked a dinner, bed and breakfast package at Burn How for my parents. They loved everything about this hotel, the garden room, the breakfast, the restaurant food, the staff. I also found the staff helpful when dealing with my booking from another country/time zone, and not following their usual payment process.
The location is also great, being quieter than central Bowness/Windermere, but only a short stroll to the lake or the town centre. My parents say they would love to stay there again, which says it all really.
