Open to hotel guests and non-residents, The Burn How Restaurant overlooks our beautiful, colourful gardens. Relax and enjoy a delicious meal in a delightful setting. Guests wishing to dine with us are asked to make a reservation in advance and we are operating a booking system to limit the number of guests in the dining room at any one time.

The Burn How Restaurant offers a varied menu using local produce with flavours from around the world. Take a look and whet your appetite with our sample menus below. We have a Burn How Classics and A la Carte menus and encourage our guests to mix and match between the two. Taste the best in modern cuisine, featuring the freshest locally sourced produce including Cartmel Valley venison and lamb, Plumgarth’s Cumberland sausage, English Lakes ice cream and cheeses from Cumbria and Lancashire.

After your meal you can relax in the comfortable lounge and bar area where coffee can be served. Our bar is located next to the restaurant and is available to residents and diners until 11pm.

We will be offering a reduced menu and restricted numbers for evening meals from 24th April 2022 on a Wednesday and a Sunday we advise to book in advance for these two evenings
