Open to hotel guests and non-residents, The Burn How Restaurant overlooks the rich and colourful gardens. Relax and enjoy a delicious meal in a delightful setting. Guests wishing to dine with us are asked to make a reservation in advance and we are operating a booking system to limit the number of guests in the dining room at any one time.

The Burn How Restaurant offers a varied menu using local produce with flavours from around the world. Take a look and whet your appetite with our menus below. We have a Burn How Classics and A la Carte menus and encourage our guests to mix and match between the two. Taste the best in modern cuisine, featuring the freshest locally sourced produce including Grizedale Vension, Lune Valley Lamb, locally caught Trout, Plumgarth’s Cumberland sausage, English Lakes ice cream and  Cheeses from the Cheese larder at Kendal.

After your meal you can relax in the comfortable lounge and bar area where coffee can be served. Our bar is located next to the restaurant and is available to residents and diners until 11pm. We operate a table service and request that our guests continue to wear a face covering when moving around the bar and restaurant.
