Early Autumn Break

‘Early Autumn Break’
Our second visit to Burn How Garden Hotel and
as before it really lived up to our expectations. Warm, friendly welcome, excellent food served by polite friendly and efficient staff. Room was clean, neat and tidy and we really enjoyed our stay despite the rain! Mr Mitchell 6th October 2013

Our stay at the Burn How

‘Burn How Garden House Hotel’
Beautiful location and great hotel (one of my most favourite spots to holiday). The room fantastic, the service excellent and the breakfast the best for quality and variety in all the hotels we stayed in on our four weeks travelling throughout Ireland and the UK. Will definitely be returning Mr McGinniskin 16th October 2013

Lovely weekend at the Burn How

‘Lovely weekend at Burn How’
Room in the lovely old building was warm(despite the cold autumn weather), spacious, clean and well appointed. Can’t comment on the modern units. Breakfast was wonderful especially the variety of fresh fruit and the menu choices for some-one who is tired of “full English”! An easy walk to the town and lake side and thankfully the hill is manageable, unlike some of the steep roads in Bowness. Surprisingly quiet location considering proximity of the town.
Last but not least all staff are very friendly! Mr Barker 16th Ocotber 2013

Autumn visit to the Lakes

‘Autumn visit to Lakes’
Once again we have enjoyed our stay at the Burn How. We Appreciate the friendly, helpful staff and warm comfortable rooms. .the breakfasts are delicious. Is it possible to change the set evening menues sometimes? We hope to come again.
Mr Ramsbottom 19th October 2013

Our Stay

The room we stayed in (No 11 – GF Rose garden) – was very noisy. People walking about upstairs, every footstep could be heard, people on GF next door, every word they said & the people in one room came in at 2-30am & made a lot of noise & woke us up. But the rest was good. Breakfast – very good.

Relaxing Break in Bowness

Stayed for two nights Bed and Breakfast 27th &28th September in The Lodge. Booked on the day and was allocated a room on top floor which was very clean and comfortable.
The setting of the hotel is lovely and peaceful – an oasis away from the bustle of the village centre but only 5 minutes away.
Staff are very pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was exceptional with the best choice of fresh fruits we have ever seen in many visits to Bowness. The selection of cooked dishes was also very good.
Will return but book beforehand to allow more choice of rooms.

Stayed September 2013, travelled as a couple
