A Place to Unwind

Good accomodation in an excellent location. 3 minute walk from shops, restaurants, and bars yet when at hotel the grounds are quiet and peaceful.Staff are very friendly, organised and focused on guests requirements and comfort. Breakfast menu extensive, Dinner menu good. All meals prepared to a high standard. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic Stay

We visited burnhow garden house hotel as a surprise for my mothers 60th birthday present. We booked for rooms- 2 doubles and 2 family rooms and I have to say all rooms were delightful. The family rooms were spacious with verandas overlooking the garden areas and clean tastefully decorated. The breakfasts were incredible, with a fantastic range of fruits/ cereals as a starter, follow by a great choice of hot breakfasts to follow. All staff were massively helpful and couldn’t do enough. We had specific requirements to ensure our surprise wasn’t spoilt and staff did everything they could to help us. They even put a birthday card in my mothers room. Defiantly recommend and stay again. 🙂 Mrs J Worral

Sort Visit

We stopped at the Burn How House for only one night but we found the room to be very clean, very warm and nicely decorated. We were impressed with the manners and the helpfulness of all of the staff. The breakfast was simply first class and we wouldn’t have anything at all to complain about. I would definitely stay here again. Mr Scott

‘Short break at Burn How’

Lovely 2 day break away.

Very near to shops and restaurants but the one thing we noticed – there was no noise. Relaxing atmosphere, excellent hosts, rooms spacious and plush. We got the feeling anything we needed they would magically provide. Will definitely be going to the Burn How again and sooner rather than later. Mrs Ruffley 25th June, 2012

‘Super, smashing, great’

Just returned from a 4 day break at the Burn How. It was great to find that the reviews i’d read prior to booking had been accurate. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfasts were a highlight -the quality could not be faulted. Never have i had that much choice of fresh fruit at a hotel breakfast! The garden chalet rooms were spacious and clean. The location was spot on – short walk to either lake or town. We arrived on the day the olympic torch “sailed” into Bowness and even the torrential rain, did not dampen our enjoyment of the evening. Would definitely recommend a stay at the Burn How. Mrs. Gaynor Goodwin
