Stayed here for 1 night and what a great place , lovely Chalet with large en suite double room with kingsize bed and car parking space outside the room , perfect location for lake or Bowness-on-Windermere town , and the breakfast was really good , will definitely stay again.
Comfortable, clean, spacious room with lovely garden view. Excellent breakfast and evening meals, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. There is free car parking and the location is brilliant, quiet area but only a few minutes walk from the lake and shops, pubs, cafes etc I will definitely be back.
We have stayed at the Burn How a number of times. The comfort is very good; the food excellent; and the staff (including proprietors) appear to have 'instant memory syndrome' each time we arrive. Happy staff produce very happy customers/visitors.
Great location, beautiful gardens, excellent breakfast, and lovely, well equipped and clean room with outside space (superior double)! All staff really helpful and friendly. You can catch a lakes area hop on/off bus from the bus stop 7 mins walk away. Also the various boat trip options from the pier. Including self drive mini motor boats Fab for my short break. Will return!
Six walkers in three twin rooms and everything spot on Lovely friendly staff and really good breakfasts. Rooms clean,warm and comfy. Really handy for Bowness centre. Just to reiterate the staff are a really mixed group from youngsters to slightly less young but all super efficient and welcoming, Well done
Fantastic hotel. Some of the most welcoming, happy and friendly staff we have ever come across. The decor and gardens are beautiful. Our room opened out to the beautiful garden which was a real treat in the morning. The breakfast was sublime. Parking space right outside our room is also so convenient and in stark contrast to previous stays elsewhere in bowness. A great walk was recommended and our little one loved finding the secret Burn How inscription en-route which also earns us a free drink when back at the hotel. This hotel is overdelivering on my expectations.. fantastic.
