How to Find Us

From Ambleside (A591)

After approximately 3.8 miles at the roundabout bear right onto the A592 (signposted Newby Bridge). After 1.5 miles at the mini-roundabout bear right (Tesco will be on your right) turn left immediately onto the A5074 opposite St Martin's Church (signposted Kendal). After approximately 200 yards turn right onto Back Belsfield Road (signposted Ferry) passing the Belsfield Hotel on your right. You will see our sign directly in front of you. Just come up our drive to Reception.

From Kendal (A591)

After approximately 6.5 miles turn left onto to the A5074 (signposted Windermere town centre) follow this road down to Bowness-on-Windermere to the mini-roundabout. Bear left (Tesco will be on your right) then turn left immediately onto the A5074 opposite St Martin's Church (signposted Kendal). After approximately 200 yards turn right onto Back Belsfield Road (signposted Ferry) passing the Belsfield Hotel on your right. You will see our sign directly in front of you. Just come up our drive to Reception.

From Newby Bridge (A592)

When you reach the roundabout at Newby Bridge follow the A592 (signposted Windermere) for approximately 7 miles, passing Windermere Village on your left, as you approach the Lake you will see the Burnside Hotel on you right, we are situated right next door on Back Belsfield Road. Just come up our drive to Reception.

By Rail

The West Coast main line (London to Glasgow) stops at Oxenholme - the Lake District. From Oxenholme you can catch a connecting train to Windermere. Both stations are well served by taxis or local buses.
