Our Honeymoon

We had our first dates in the lakes so it seemed logical to honeymoon there. We definately made the right choice of hotel as it was on the doorstep of Bowness but unlike any other hotel in the area it had complete privacy and quiet. The staff were warm and friendly and the rooms were well appointed and clean. The evening meals were 5 Star, fantastic and the breakfasts were great filling us up for the day! When we arrived we had a lovely card from the hotel wisihng us all the best in our new wedded life. I have already reccomended the hotel to family and we will be returning for more.

Great Stay

We enjoyed a lovely stay over the bank holiday weekend,we stayed in a family room overlooking the beautiful garden.
Breakfast was really good, the kids loved all the fresh fruit available aswell as having a cooked breakfast, they even made hot chocolate for my son.
The room was clean and bright and fitted the four of us in perfectly,it was good to have own entrance too.
Probably the nicest place we have stayed in at Bowness (even compared to the bigger Hotels)as its in a great location , close to everything ,but lovely and peaceful too. All the staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome.I would highly recommend and hope to return soon

Nice Stay’

We had a ground floor room with disabled bathroom, which we had requested, and found very helpful for our needs. The room was comfy, clean and a good size. The gardens outside our room were lovely. The breakfasts were excellent and the service was really good. The Guest House was in a great position, very close to centre of Bowness. We would definately stay again!
