Many of our guests are kind enough to leave their thoughts of their stay at the Burn How Hotel.

Staff friendly and helpful. Location excellent for access to Bowness. A little quiet in the evenings
We booked a two night deal via Hotel Website. We did have some hesitation as you often find such "deals" are not all they are cracked up to be.
Our whole experience at this hotel was GREAT. The location was excellent-only five minutes stroll to the main centre on Lake Windermere.
The reception and all other staff were efficent and friendly.
Our room was in the Lodge House. The room was of a good size and nicely decorated. The bed comfortable and unlike other hotels we have stayed in-a decent size.
The bathroom was of a high standard.
The breakfast was without doubt one of the best I have ever had. A great selection of fresh fruits/cereals, followed by a lovely English Breakfast.
The dinner was again of the highest standard and a selection which would suit most people.
Overall a great find and we will definately return at some point in the future.
The Burn How Garden Hotel was very easy to locate, just a few minutes from Bowness town centre and the lake. We found the hotel to be very clean with very helpful, polite and happy staff. We had a couple of breakfasts whuch were of a very high quality and an evening meal which was fantastic. We would not hesitate to stay there again next time we visit the lakes.
The staff are excellent, helpful and friendly also efficent.
Note the rooms are not in the main buliding they are in the grounds of the hotel,(there are no guest bedrooms in the main buliding) they are comfortable with all that is needed for an enjoyable visit. Meals can be taken in the main building but we opted to have a continental breakfast served to our room which was execellent. The hotel is easy walking access to the town and the lake, we would stay again.
We had a wonderful stay and will definately return!
