"choose from traditional rooms, 4 poster rooms and garden chalets"
All of our rooms offer ensuite accommodation just a short walk from the centre of Bowness and Lake Windermere. Rooms have their own individual parking space, and most have a private sun balcony.
The Lodge is a detached Victorian residence opposite the main Reception building. It features eight traditional double or twin bedrooms each individual in character. Two of the bedrooms are situated on the ground floor.
Two of these bedrooms have been specially adapted for wheelchair access, with both rooms having a full wet room with grab rails. We also have a portable plastic wheelchair for use in the shower. The ground floor Rose Garden Rooms are located behind the main Reception building and also have a patio leading out onto the rose garden terrace.
The Burn How Garden Chalets are spacious individual rooms situated on the driveway on the approach to the main Reception building. These bedrooms offer peace and privacy and most have a private balcony with views over the gardens. Our Garden Chalet rooms have a double & a single bed and are particularly suitable for families.
Our garden chalet family rooms have a double & a single bed and also have an additional roll-out bed allowing 2 adults & 2 children to share the same room. One of the Garden Chalets (Room 10) can sleep a family of 5 as it has a double bed, a single bed and a bunk bed.
Our superior Rose Garden Rooms overlook the private rose garden at the Burn How. 3 of our superior Rose Garden Rooms have 4 poster beds, and 1 offers a super king size bed.
The Mews Room & The Bay Room are in a detached bungalow within the hotel grounds. Both offer extra space and privacy and they each have a luxury bathroom.
